It can happen to the best of us. Just when you feel everything is working well, someone says something or something happens and bam, you’re feeling like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. “Nothing’s going right”, “I guess it will always turn out this way”… The BLUES begin to rear their ugly head. What to do? Well there are many ways to approach the doldrums. Some folks head straight for the refrigerator. But the best methods for pulling yourself out of a funk like the blues are those that help you raise your vibrational level.
So how do I raise my vibration? And why does that work? By allowing yourself to reach for a “good feeling thought”, what this does is alters the frequency that you are emitting (sending out to universe). And when the frequency is altered to that of something joyful, Law of Attraction begins bringing to you more reasons to be joyful. So go ahead and try it!
Here’s an example:
OLD WAY – Seth always criticizes my work. It doesn’t make me feel good at all. I think he should speak his mind in a less demeaning way. I feel down.
NEW WAY – Maybe that is Seth’s way of doing things and he can’t help it. But I know I have a choice about how I want to feel and I know that I want to feel good. I value my work and there are many others who do too. I can release this situation knowing and understand that everyone has a right to their own opinion. No one is either right or wrong in how they feel, as it’s only a matter of subjective patterning based on their own experiences. I am responsible for my own feelings and actions. I feel great having choice! I’m excited to express myself in my own way in this world.
What this person did was take charge over their own behavior and at the same time they understood fully that others also have their own choices. This creates more of a healthy balance in the life of this person. Taking control of your own emotions and allowing others their say makes way for a more peaceful world.
